Mr. Minkailou Semega-Janneh is an Executive Director in the Bank. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Boston, USA, where he obtained a bachelors degree in Economics and Political Science. He also holds a Master degree in International Affairs with specialisation in International Banking and Business, from the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University, New York. In addition, he holds a diploma in commercial banking from Manchester Business School and an advanced diploma in Banking from Finafrica, Milan, Italy

Between 1982 and 1992, he worked in various departments of the Gambia Commercial and Development Bank, including Current Accounts, Foreign Exchange, Credit, Recoveries, and Branch Management.

He also worked variously as Senior Manager, Technical Director and acting Managing Director with Jimpex International Limited. Prior to joining Guaranty Trust he was the Managing Partner of Kompei Associates Consultants.
